rails girls summer of code is an international program that encourages more women to participate in open source software development. it supports teams comprised of students, coaches, and mentors for 3 months over summer as they work on and contribute to qualifying open source projects.
I participated as a student, working on sinatra and an eu farm subsidy project. my team's daily progress can be followed on our blog.
